Happy Thursday everyone! Susan and Jennie here with the first December Challenge and some inspiration. For this weeks challenge, you will need to choose a layout to "Scraplift" that was created in 2014 by one of our talented Design Team members.   Now for some inspiration, Susan chose to "lift" this "Be Cool" layout by Carol Monson. It has a fantastic over all design with the 3 smaller portrait oriented photos and the tag and embellishments in the 4th position.   She used the December "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" kit   adding a piece of black...

Thursday Challenge: Tag You're It!

Card Challenge Heart it Races Kit Kathy Martin Madeline Fox Tag Challenge tags

How about a little tag challenge today with Madeline and I? Tags aren't just for pretty packages! Tags make perfect accents for paper crafting projects such as cards and scrapbook pages. For my 'You & Me' card, tags were layered and used to frame accents. Next Madeline uses tags on a couple of layouts with The Heart It Races kit. Hello Friends!  How about another Thursday Challenge? Today Jocelyn and I are creating projects that have a "long" title or sentiment.  Notice that I've used inverted commas around the word long? We want you to have complete interpretation of that word!!  You can create a project that has five or more words in your title or you can use the word long, quite literally.  Elongate your title and or sentiment to stretch across your project!! Using the Boys of Summer kit, I chose to use an extremely long title on my layout.      "Every Boy should be Gifted with...

Happy Challenge Thursday everyone! Susan Stringfellow here with my good friend, Madeline Fox. Today's Challenge is to use Buttons. Madeline and I wanted to share some of the ways that we like to use buttons on our layouts. For both of my layouts, I have used the July Either Way kit and Add On kit. I added cardstock from my stash for the background. Then I stamped and used gold tinsel embossing powder to heat emboss on vellum with the Either Way stamp set. My favorite way to use buttons is in a title in place of the letter "O". It's a...
