Using Scraps to Create a Layout and a PL Page

12x12 12X12 layout A Day in the Life After The Storm LG Belarmino May 2013 Kit Project Life

Hi everyone! LG here sharing 2 more projects I made using leftover scraps from After the Storm Kit and add-ons.  For  my layout, I just layered all the patterned paper scraps from the kit to create a clustered look. With the use of foam tapes, staples, and doilies, I was able to still create a page that doesn't look like it was made of scraps. Placement is the key ;) Working with limited supplies, this is the perfect time to do a minimalist page. Add paint, mists, or any small embellishments to cover more spaces and to get that detailed...

Using Gelatos on My Layout

12X12 layout After The Storm LG Belarmino May 2013 Kit

Hi everyone! LG here with two layouts that I did using After the Storm Kit and add-ons.  As you noticed with my previous layouts, I have been trying to use other art medium when creating my pages. I love the personal touch it adds to my creation as well as the different textures and dimension.  The thing I love most about the Scraptastic kits is that they are packed with lots of papers and embellishments. I love layering and really enjoy adding lots of little bits and pieces to my pages. I love a kit that has tags, die cuts, labels, and other embellishments so that I can layer to my hearts content.  Here are a few layouts I created adding lots of layers. (Love how many different colour combinations are possible with the kits!) 12X12 layout After The Storm May 2013 Kit pocket Susan Stringfellow

Hello everyone, Susan here. Today I want to share one last layout using the gorgeous May "After the Storm" kit and I want to talk about problem solving on this layout. I wanted to tell a story on my page but I needed to include this one full sized photo along with a couple of other photos, journaling, and of course I have to have lots of patterned papers and embellishment! I think sometimes we forget about pockets so I just want to remind you that you can make pockets for all of those extra things that wouldn't fit on...
