A layout with journaling

 Hi there everyone,

Do you love to add some journaling on your layouts??

I love it. Journaling is an integral element in my scrapbook layouts design. And I especially love to add handwritten journaling.

Here's a good example with this layout made with the December Mocha Latte kit:

On this layout I explain the fears of my youngest son. He's always terrified by insects and animals.

So by my handwritten journaling I express all my thoughts about the fears of my son, why he is afraid, what I expect from him, etc...

I want to keep memories of each major step of his life.

Sometimes a photo is not enough and we need to express some emotions on our papers.

Personally I think that journaling is very important on a layout and much more when your journaling is handwritten.

I will be very proud when in few years my children will have a look at my creations.

And you? Is journaling is important for you?

Can't wait to read your thoughts about this;)

Marinette

What a beautiful LO — I’m so glad I got this kit this month and yours is a beautiful example of how well these neutrals can be layered. I am a huge fan of journaling. A picture alone is nice but telling about the event or the emotion or the thought as well is priceless. This will be a great memory for your son.

What a lovely layout! Thanks for sharing thoughts about journaling. You are so right – sometimes the photo is not enough to tell the whole story! As years go by we will forget things, like this fear of your son’s, and this will be probably a fun memory of this stage of his life. I like the photo you have of him :).
