Although the When Skies are Grey is very neutral - there are lots of opportunities within the kit to add pops of colour to your pages!
To be honest, the yellow mist was a bit intimidating to me at first, but used in small doses and in different ways it is really a great addition to the kit!
To start off I used one of the neutral papers in the kit and then took scraps of paper from the kit and cut them in a whimsical edge by dragging my scissors down the side of the page and stitched them on.
Then, I misted an area with the yellow mist where I knew I was going to place my photo. I also took the mist and (after unscrewing the lid) I used the end of the nozzle that was in the mist and coloured in the "you" on my photo frame.
You can see that by adding some outlined work bubble cuts that the colour still pops through!
I added more colour matting my photo with some of the Heidi Swapp paper and using the MME stickers and Jillibean Soup flags in little bits on the page!
Hope you are inspired to use pops of colour from your kit!
