Oct 27 OUR LITTLE SPOOK

12X12 layout Halloween Melanie Stanczyk Multiple photosll October 2012 Kits October Afternoon Spookfest

Boo To You!!!! Halloween is right around the corner and I want to share my layout using the October Spookfest kit. Sit back enjoy that piece of candy you 'saved' for yourself. I personally have to sneak the Reese Peanut Cup from the kids stash.

This is my daughter Khila, dressed as a witch last year. Not your typical witch scary witch. She's more of a modern type with stylish black boots with cute striped tights, sporting a black tulle shirt and a black, glitter spider web on her face. Oh, and a cell phone in her tucked into her skirt.

Since it is still October, we are focusing on multiple pictures on our layouts.

OUR LITTLE SPOOK

I outlined all the spiderwebs on the page with a glitter pen. It looks really cool in person, it just hard to see on the on these pictures. Totally worth the extra effort! If you look at the little girl on the top of the page, I colored her dress  and hat with the glitter marker.

Along the top of the layout I used a purple pen to outline the Haunted House words, the Blue color just didn't work for my layout. I also used purple mist to add a little something to the page. I just love all the little pieces in this kit, it makes layering so very easy! Can't forget about the stickers, it so nice to find stickers that have journaling on them that matches the layout.

This layout close-up shows off how well the papers coordinate. The glitter paper rocks and the best thing is, the glitter don't rub off on your hands.

Have a wonderfully spooky and safe Halloween!

~Melanie
