Hello everyone! I'm back to challenge you with another sketch this month. There's a lot of white space and I included room for two photos, but you could squeeze in three or four by dividing the space into smaller sections. The only requirement to enter this challenge is that we can tell you used the sketch as the inspiration for your page. (Rotating it, flipping it, or changing the embellishment placement is allowed.)
I created this example based on the sketch. I used the Hall Pass kit and add on to scrap about my kids' first day back to school. My favorite thing on my layout is the paper clip from Studio Calico. I chose the number 3 because it symbolizes my three kids. I grabbed a notebook punch to work with the school theme, and I also added some mist to fill a bit of the white space.
I had a lot of help with the sketch this month! Michelle sent me this gorgeous layout. I really love that black and white photo of her with her son. The pops of black on this page really draw your eye around and the pen stitching looks wonderful!
Nathalie made this super funny page. I adore the way she combined the two colors of mist and the little birds on the bottom make me think of the ladies that will be lining up. This layout totally made me smile and her stitching rocks!
Pam's layout is so cute! I love how she printed the journaling on the yellow paper. It really shines on her page. I think the way she matted the title is awesome and I think it's so neat that she put the little bird underneath like it's speaking. Her layout is so detailed!
Now it's your turn. Make a LO based on the above sketch. Flip it, turn it, just make sure we can see that you used the sketch to inspire your LO.
You have until October 31st at midnight to complete your entry for the
October Challenges. The prize for the October Challenges is a $20.00 GC
to the store.
