Happy Monday!!! Welcome to our first day of our Halloween Inspiration. Over the next three days, a few of the Design Team members will be sharing their spooky (or not so spooky) creations with the Spookfest Kit. (There are still some left in the store). The kit is full of the fun Witch Hazel line from October Afternoon.
For my projects, I combined the Spookfest kit with last year's Halloween kit.
I found a sketch in my PageMaps 2 book and used one side of the double page spread to make my page about my kids carving pumpkins from last year.
Too Cute To Spook
I wanted to take this Halloween kit in a different direction and use it for a not so Halloween page. When I was looking through my photos, I thought these photos of my oldest's kitty would be purr-fect! :) Macy really is too cute to spook. Nancy Damiano made a cute page that I just love how she did her title. So I borrowed the idea. I used the gray letters from the Hall Pass kit and the other thickers from my stash.I love the glitter on the black letters.
I couldn't resist putting the chipboard hat on the cat. LOL It just fit so well!!
This is my last project. I thought it would be fun to decorate a jar and fill it with candy corn and pumpkin candies. I cut the "trick or treat" with my die cutting machine. I used the big chip piece with the owl's from last year's kit and gave the owls some personality by adding some I-rock gems to their eyes. I then tied some black tulle from my stash to finish it off.
I hope you found some inspiration today!!! Stop back tomorrow to see what Melanie created! :)
