Again, I made another photo collage using Kerri Bradford's templates that I bought. I love how easy they are to use. Check out the tutorial in the forum, as I tried to explain below how to use them. She also has an excellent video on her site. Seriously, these are really easy to use. I am no photoshop expert, and I love playing with these.
The primary color palette of this kit worked so well with my photos. I love how this page feels different than my other two using this kit just by how I combined this color palette. Here, I didn't use as much yellow, but a lot more red to pull from my daughter's shirt in the photos. I used the navy patterned paper as my background, leaving the top corner peeking. I love the diagonal line from my son in the photos up to the paper. It pulls your eye across the page. Adding just a small pop of yellow this time and putting it in a visual triangle, draws your eye around the page.
I love the mix of alphas and had fun using those cool tags Jessica made for the kits. I layered some die cuts and stickers to anchor my title. I also put some of the yellow paper behind the tag to make it pop.
The Elle's studio tags are fabulous for layering up a bit. For some added interest, I added a button with some twine in it.There is a tutorial on the forum on how I made my photo collage.
