Good morning my Scraptastic friends. Jessica here with the last of the June Challenges.
For this challenge, I want you all to get messy....paints, mists, stains and inks. (I'll even let you cheat a little like I did with some rub-ons). Here's my example:
Although my page is not all that messy, I sure was after working on it. My hands and arms (not sure how that happened) were covered in paint and mist. I used my Tim Holtz Distress Stain in black soot on almost all of my paper edges, I did use my Ranger paint dauber in pool on the edges of the black and white chevron paper, as well as, the arrow stamps and the way too cute date stamp from Dear Lizzy, both were in the June Stamp Add-On. I used a couple of my Mister Hueys for my ink splatters and also on those fun magic resist banners from Heidi Swapp. The colors I used were Heirloom Blue and Plum Thumb, I did add a little white to tone down the colors on the banners. For my title, I used the alphas that came in the Oh Snap! kit, but it just wasn't working for me, so I used my paint dauber again and just went over the whole title. Once it was dry, I pulled all of the letters off.....much better for me now.
So obviously I want to challenge you all to get a little messy.....let's see what you come up with!
Remember that you have until midnight on July 4th, 2012 to submit all of your entries for the June Challenges.
