Hey Scraptastic Fans! Nicole and Carol here today to share with you a few peeks of what we have been working on in our Project Life albums using the Scraptastic PL kits!
This was my first time doing a PL spread so I wanted to start small... and used a smaller SNAP album from Simple Stories to get started.
What I realized most, is that my favorite part of the PL kit are the stamps! They really go far....so, once I got stamping, I pulled out a lot of my past Scraptastic kit stamps and used tons of them in my PL spreads.
I really loved the sketchy triangles from last month's kit and colored one of the triangles in with a black marker and stamped a few triangles to highlight them!
Check out what Carol did using the PL kit!
I love how the sets have a combination of coordinating color schemes in them......for my spread I chose to focus on the red and blue colors for my Fourth of July week. I added in a few embellishments from my Rock Lobster kit as well as some alphas but the rest is all the PL kit.
On this card I sliced the tip of the triangle to overlap on my photo so it would sit nicely with the design.
I loved the sentiments here and decided to use all three together on this picture of my daughter doing dishes. Everyday life right!
This months stamp collections were awesome and I plan to use them in lots of places. The Good Day Sunshine was perfect for my little slumber party girls when I surprised them in the morning!
For this set I placed the red arrow trim on the outside of the plastic so it could overlap onto the other pocket.
Just a little ink on the wood veener and this heart is good ;)
Thanks for joining us today....check back next Friday for another installment of This Life Noted!
