Feeling Happy

 Hi there Scraptastic friends!

Carol here sharing a few layouts with you using our February kit Truly, Madly, Deeply.

This gorgeous chevron paper by Crate caught my eye immediately and it was the first one I had to use!  It originally came in a V pattern but I decided to enhance the chevron by cutting off one side and re-attaching it to the other side.  I then added a bunch of stitches along some of the edges.

I painted one of the chipboard hearts yellow to compliment my yellow stitches, and added some thick thread around my pictures to tie it off with.

For this next layout I had these adorable pictures of my daughter from many years ago and I wanted a layout that felt super happy!  I collected all the pink and green papers along with the gold chevron and punched a bunch of circles.  Loving yellow the way I do I decided to add some with chalk using one of the heart die cuts in this kit.  I just used it like a stencil.  A bunch of tags and arrows and it was complete.

I love how happy these layouts feel!

Thanks so much for looking ;)

Nice LO’s and adorable kids! I especially like the stitched circles and chalked hearts on the second one. I always forget about chalk although I chalked everything before I discovered ink. Time to rediscover it I think!
