Fifteen

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start. I am back to share with you one of my projects with the sold out Everyday Is Like Sunday kit and add on. It has a great assortment of papers and goodies in it.

This time of the year, there are a handful of birthdays that I need cards for, one of them being my middle child. May I just say, how is it that she is going to be 15 soon?? Too fast... they grow too fast, I tell you! I have gotten in the habit these last few years of making her a birthday card instead of buying one, for all of my kids really. I hope she likes them. :) Hard to tell with these teens now a days. :) Normally, I am not really much of a card maker, but these last few years I have really been getting into it.

I used one of Susan Stringfellow's sketches. I have plenty saved on my computer. I just love them. I cut the number out of the one sheet of patt. paper. Colored the heart with a little Hero Arts ink. I added a doily from my stash.

Do you make cards??? I am making them more. I only give them to the people in my family (hubby & kids) and a few scrappy friends. Do you give them away?

It’s gorgeous! I make very, very few cards. But I would like to change that.

Your card is lovely, Michelle, and special with her age on it too! I am definitely a cardmaker and really enjoy making and giving them to my special people!

The other great thing about making cards is using up the last bits of a kit, as well as an occasional embellie that just doesn’t fit with anything I’m scrapping. It can always work on a card.
