I used the sold out Truly, Madly, Deeply kit and add-on to alter my little can, pulling out the pinks and grays. I punched some strips and adhered it to my can. Punched out a heart and cut out some tags to hang from the handle. One word of advice if you use the cans from Target.. be careful when trying to remove the handle. It comes off ok, but doesn't go back in easily.
I love the chipboard hearts in the kit. I used the mist to color my heart on the lid. I used my Cricut to cut a circle to fit. The flower is from my stash. A quick, simple project, but I know my daughter will enjoy her fuzzy socks (it's still cold here in WI). :)
So... my challenge to you, if you so choose to accept it is to alter something. And with keeping with the theme of Valentine's day, how about a twist to my little challenge. ;) It has to have hearts and the color pink and/or red.
Make sure to link your project with the linky tool at the bottom for your chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the Scraptastic Club store.
Socks! What a fun Valentine’s gift and the container is adorable! I love the idea to hang things from the handle, and do I see stamping on the pp around the top?
